Terms of Service for Alaska Plumbing Pros in Alaska

What Low Water Pressure Service Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Alaska Plumbing Pros assesses low water pressure and repairs related plumbing components when agreed in advance. Depending on the cause, the work may include inspecting accessible pipes, valves, pressure regulators, pressure tanks, or pump-related equipment.

We will explain what we find and identify work that falls outside the agreed job before proceeding. New installations, electrical work, concealed or inaccessible plumbing, water-quality testing, and repairs to public water systems require separate approval and may need another qualified provider.

Before alterations, customers should verify permit requirements with the Municipality of Anchorage Development Services Department. Work must follow applicable Alaska Plumbing Code requirements; pump wiring may require Anchorage electrical approval.

Alaska Statutes 08.18 contractor registration requirements apply where relevant. Public water systems may be subject to the Safe Drinking Water Act and EPA Lead and Copper Rule.

Used pump components must be disposed of under applicable local solid-waste rules. Requirements depend on the property and work involved.

Booking, Changes, and Cancellations

Appointments are arranged by phone or email. We will confirm the planned visit and any available arrival window; a requested date or time is not confirmed until we accept it. Please provide accurate access details, describe the pressure problem, and tell us about known shutoffs, pets, or site conditions that could affect the visit.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible so we can update the appointment. We will explain any applicable cancellation or visit charges before they are incurred; no fee is created by this section alone.

If inspection shows that the requested repair differs from the agreed work, we will describe the change and any added cost. We will not proceed with additional work without your approval, except where immediate action is authorized to address an urgent safety concern.

Delays caused by access, parts, weather, or conditions outside our control may require a new appointment, which we will communicate.

Quotes, Added Work, and Payment

We provide an estimate or explain the pricing basis before starting agreed repair work. An estimate reflects the information available at the time; opening walls, testing equipment, or finding concealed damage may reveal conditions that change the work required.

We will explain any proposed change and its added cost, then obtain your approval before performing that additional work. If you decline, we may complete only the original approved scope when it remains safe and practical, or explain why it cannot be completed as planned.

Payment is due as stated in the estimate, work authorization, invoice, or other written confirmation provided for your job. Ask us to clarify payment timing or accepted methods before work begins.

Any applicable taxes, parts, labor, or approved additional work will be shown in the job documentation. No particular price, financing option, or payment arrangement is promised by these general terms.

Contact us promptly if you believe an invoice does not match the work authorized or completed so we can review the details.

Workmanship Coverage and Its Limits

Alaska Plumbing Pros stands behind workmanship only to the extent stated in the written estimate, work authorization, invoice, or separate warranty provided for your job. Those documents control the covered work, duration, and steps for requesting service. Because no standard warranty period or universal guarantee is specified here, please review your job paperwork or contact us before relying on coverage.

A workmanship warranty, if provided, covers only the described work and does not automatically cover equipment or parts supplied by another party, normal wear, misuse, lack of maintenance, freezing, water conditions, or failures unrelated to our work. Changes or repairs made by others may affect coverage if they cause or contribute to the issue.

Coverage may also be limited where access or operating conditions prevent proper inspection. Report a concern promptly and allow us a reasonable opportunity to review the affected work before another provider alters it, unless immediate action is needed to prevent harm. Applicable legal rights are not waived by these terms.

Responsibility for Repairs and Existing Conditions

To the extent permitted by law, Alaska Plumbing Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, including liability that cannot legally be waived.

We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, concealed damage, failures in unrelated equipment, or conditions outside the agreed work, except where applicable law provides otherwise. We cannot promise that a repair will prevent future pressure changes caused by other parts of a plumbing or water system.

Customers should verify applicable Anchorage plumbing permit requirements before alterations. Work is subject to relevant Alaska Plumbing Code provisions, and pump wiring may require an Anchorage electrical permit.

Applicable contractor registration rules under Alaska Statutes 08.18 remain in force. Public water protections under the Safe Drinking Water Act and EPA Lead and Copper Rule apply where relevant.

Disposal of used components must follow local rules. Nothing in this section excuses compliance with law or transfers a customer’s legal obligations to the company.
